Who We Are

We are the propane experts! Valley Propane is a full service supplier of propane gas for residential and commercial use to nine counties in Virginia and Monroe County WV. The Fireside Shop sells, installs, and services gas logs, inserts, free standing stoves, fireplaces and wood stoves that will fill your home with a lifetime of warmth and character.

Valley Propane is locally owned and operated. Our mission is to provide our customers with dependable, safe and economical propane service.

Our History

Since 1994 Valley Propane - and our parent company Prince Oil Company - has been perfecting the art of housewarming. Prince Oil Company, Inc. began by serving the heating oil and petroleum needs of the New River Valley.

The Fireside Shop at Valley Propane was expanded and remodeled in 1999, it features a 2,000 sq. ft. show room with live burning gas logs, inserts, fireplaces, free standing units and wood stoves.

Employee Certifications

To insure our commitment to safe, reliable service for our customers, Valley Propane employees have been trained, tested and certified through the National Propane Gas Association.

Our sales staff and master gas fitters are certified by the National Fireplace Institute in both gas and wood burning systems. NFI is a nationally administered certification program that focuses on the knowledge vital in protecting public safety by properly installing and servicing the many types of fireplaces products available on the market today.
